Hellwig Above Axle Helper Springs For A 1996 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma, its a basic standard cab, 5 speed. I want to be able to cheaply add a little weight capacity to it, I like to collect rocks, and our newer 4Runner will haul twice what this truck will. Will the 550 or the 900 over the top support help me to keep the leaf springs from sagging with a load? the leafs are only a year old, I boutght the truck with a broken leaf, now I know why.

Hello Dave. The Hellwig Above Axle Helper Springs will definitely help add support and stop the vehicle from sagging. The Hellwig EZ-550 Helper Springs - Above Axle # HE72FR is what I recommend for your 1996 Toyota Tacoma. While these will help with the sagging, keep in mind that they will not increase the weight carrying capacity of your vehicle.
