Hello Dennis,

To get the right tie-downs for your 5,000 lb boat, you'll need tie-downs that have a combined working load limit (WLL) of more than 5,000 lbs.

So for example, you could use the 833 lb BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Bow Tie-Down Strap # IMF14220, the 833 lb BoatBuckle Heavy Duty Ratchet Transom Tie-Down Straps # IMF14207, and two of the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Gunwale Tie-Down Straps # IMF14221.

This'll give you seven total straps with a WLL total of 5,831 lbs.

Hey Dennis, how did the setup with the BoatBuckle tie-downs work out for your boat and trailer? Knowing how the combined straps handled the load could help others figure out what they need for similar setups. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same question.
