Can a Redarc Trailer Brake Controller Be Installed On a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness?

Hi I am contemplating a redarc brake controller for my 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness. I dont see a specific application addressed on the redarc website but am wondering if you have any experience with it. I think Ive seen reference to installing the system on a similar car, but cant find the reference again. Help please.

As both the Redarc Liberty # RED52VR and Elite # RED44FR are universal applications you can use either on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Our 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 provides the wiring necessary to install either controller and upgrade a 4-Way # 118467 to the 7-way needed for a brake controller.
The main difference between the controllers above is the Liberty is only going to provide proportional braking while the Elite will also allow for a custom brake mode which works better off-road if you plan on doing any type of overlanding with your trailer.
