I have a Curtis 20 K the jaws are not closing tight around the king pin How do I adjust that

Not sure which Curt 20K hitch you have but if you're having an issue with the Curt A20 fifth wheel hitch item # C16064 you should check the lubrication.

I attached a chart that has the maintenance schedule for the hitch. If this isn't the one you have go ahead and email me back and comment below which one you're having issues with and I'll be happy to look up some troubleshooting solutions for you.

The Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch item # C16064 can be greased with some high-pressure grease item # L11380 or item # L11390 if you're using a grease gun. You can smear some grease on the skid plate or use a lube plate like item # 16721.
