Hey Glenn, thanks for reaching out!
The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 52728-1 that fits your 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata won't be compatible with the Blue Ox Base Plate tab you have. Since it sounds like you already have a Blue Ox tow bar, I recommend picking up the Roadmaster Base Plate Adapter Bracket # RM-032 so you can then use your existing tow bar with the Roadmaster base plate kit.
