Can Internal Rod Be Replaced for Heavy Duty Bulldog Jack

Updated 06/05/2024 | Published 05/30/2024

Question:

I am looking for the threaded rod and nut in a bulldog jack. There are no numbers on the jack. It’s a weld on 4 inch square housing. The threaded rod is 17 1/2 inches long and the diameter is 1 inch. The nut is 2 by 2 3/4 inches. Thanks for any help.

Hey Tim, thanks for reaching out!

It doesn't look like Bulldog has replacement rods for their HD jacks so I recommend replacing it with a 10K etrailer jack # TJD-12000SP-R2 or # TJD-12000SP-F2 depending on which way you need the spring handle to face for the drop leg.

If the rod ever goes out on this then you just need the Replacement Rod and Nut # TJD-12000-RODNUT to get the trailer jack back up and running.
