Question:
I have a Fulton t3205 winch with a hand brake. Is there a manual or a way to adjust it. I am having trouble pulling the strap off the wench, even in neutral.

Hey Pat,
It sounds like either the hand brake is catching or your gears may be worn or have some debris stuck in them, giving you a hard time releasing the strap. The spring for the parking brake is likely worn and allowing the brake to slot back in just enough to give you trouble. If so, you can replace the handbrake and spring with part # F501210. You can also spray some white lithium grease on the gears to help lubricate them without attracting dirt and debris.
Aside from that you would be looking at replacement of the entire winch. Since this model is discontinued I recommend the # 315-W3200D.
