Is a Flashing Green Light Normal on the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control
Updated 05/31/2024 | Published 05/23/2024 >
Question:
Hi, I have a 2015 Ford F-150. I have hooked up the Tuson sway control system that I just purchased last week from etrailer. I have everything hooked up the light is green and flickering, my question is the truck no longer says trailer connected, so it thinks it’s not connected. I haven’t pulled the trailer yet to see if it will change. Just want to make sure it’s working correctly. Thank you

Hey Chris, I checked out the instruction manual for the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 and it looks like a flickering green light is a good thing and that's supposed to happen. Your truck probably hasn't registered the sway control device yet because you haven't finished setting it up.
I'd recommend finishing the setup as outlined in the instructions and see if the flashing goes away.

Hi Bryce, thanks for getting back to me. I did finish the installation and the truck still won’t recognize the trailer hooked up. So I called tech support at Tuson and we tried some different things, but nothing work. So the problem is the blue wire from the truck is not going through the Tuson sway controller for some reason, he was not sure if it’s the truck or the controller, so we are trying one more thing to see if it will work. He suggested to buy two brake magnets and hook them up before the box to see if that will send the signal all the way through to the brakes. I will be installing those and testing them out tomorrow. If that doesn’t do it, they said the will warrant out my controller and send me out another one. I will post again with my results.
