Can You Install 3,500 lb Electric Trailer Brakes Upside Down
Updated 05/28/2024 | Published 05/23/2024 >
Question:
I have a shorelander single axle trailer. I’m trying to mount 10” electric brakes on it. The brake backing plate will not sit flush with the trailer side. The bottom of the backing plate comes in contact with the bottom of the trailer plate. If I install the brake so the electro magnet is at the top, it fits perfectly. Can the brake be installed with the electro magnet on the front or rear side or upside down. Thanks Wayne
