Question:

Looking for a replacement latch for my 2012 Merhow horse trailer. It is similar to the cam-action latches I am seeing, however it does not have any tube with it. Would really like it to be in steel as well.

Hey Sarah,

Appreciate the photo and the cam-action latches with the steel pipe are the only option we have. They will work for you, but be a bit different than what you currently have. You can use either the 45" Long Lock Assembly # PLR3057-45 or 36" Long Lock Assembly # 305736.

These come with the pipe, but there is also the stainless steel Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch for Fold Down Trailer Gate or Side Door # PLR3057-SS which doesn't come with the pipe but does require 3/4" pipe. I know this is not exactly what you were looking for but I did at least want to give you the option.
