Will The Advent Electric Heat Strip Help To Take The Chill Out Of the Air?
Updated 05/20/2024 | Published 05/01/2024 >
Question:
What does it mean "5,500 BTU # ACMHD to this unit and it will take the chill out of the air." Does this mean it will kind of warm it up just enough to take out the chill? Or that it will warm up the camper nice and cozy? We have a pop up By the way. Thanks very much Dan

Expert Reply:
The Electric Heat Strip # ACMHD is just going to be enough to help with the chill you get overnight and in the early morning hours on those cooler nights. It will not be enough to replace our furnace which is likely 25,000BTU or larger. As it is only a 5,500BTU heating capacity in a pop up you will not be able to get a lot of heating out of it but it will be a notable difference and will help save your propane from having to use the furnace.
