Question:

I have a question about the Curt hitch 11371. Is the spacing between the slots about 8.75 inches? I have a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze LT. The exhaust is not like the one in your video for the 2017 or 2019. There would be no need for me to trim the exhaust shield or body trim as described in the 2017 installation video. Im trying to figure out what hitch to get. I got a CURT 11439 and it doesnt fit since the hole spacing in my frame is 8.75 inches.

Hi Tim; right away I can tell you that the # C11371 does not fit your 2016 Chevy Cruze LT. This is designed to fit the 2014 - 2015 models. I can't add that picture you linked here since we don't have the rights to it but I believe you have a 2016 Cruze Limited LT. You can compare it to the picture attached below. If you aren't sure, I recommend checking with your local dealer. Based on this and your measurement I believe the correct hitch would be the # C11425. The distance between the bolt holes on this hitch is 8.6" center to center which is almost the same as your approximate measurement of 8.75".
