More Stable Crossbar Roof Rack that Fits 2019 Toyota Sienna

Question:

Looking for recommendations for crossbars for a 2019 Toyota Sienna. I would like to know how stable the Yakima Timberline FX is versus Yakima Timberline. I currently have the OEM crossbars but see a lot of flex when I strap a canoe to the racks. I like the idea of possibly having a wider rack like the Timberline would give in case I put 2 boats on my van in the future, but dont want to sacrifice any stability for my expensive canoes. If the Timberline towers are still very stable, which crossbar would be best to pair with it for stability?

Hey Ben, so basically all of the aftermarket roof racks for your 2019 Toyota Sienna are going to be more stable than the OEM bars of your 2019 Sienna. With that said since you want a decent amount of overhang I would go with the Malone AirFlow 2 part # MPG216 which are 58 inches long. The Yakima Timberline feet are for the through bar style racks where there is overhang and the Timberline FX is the style where the bars do not go through the feet.
