Complete Awning Replacement Recommendation for a 2004 Airstream Land Yacht

Im in the market for a replacement awning for my motorhome. The old one is a 19 Dometic manual style. Ive been looking at a Solera Lippert on your website as the replacement. But I have some questions. So far I have the following parts list: Solera XL 12V Power RV Awning - 19 Wide - 98 Projection - Black Fade Item LCV000334966-362243 Wind Sensor for Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awnings Item LC715123 Butyl tape to seal the brackets not sure of the part number Questions: Will this wind sensor, Item LC715123, work with this model of awning? The video says it works with a smartarm unit. I couldnt find that in a 19 awning. What is a good number for the butyl tape? Am I missing anything else? I have photos of the motorhome, a 40 Airstream diesel pusher, with the existing awning that I could send to you. Thank you, Brien Crothers

Brien, it sounds like you did your research so kudos to you, but the awning you're looking at is not going to work with the wind sensor. You'd need to use the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning # LC517517 instead.
You're also going to need the Solera Awning Rail Extrusion # LC715217, some LaSalle Bristol Butyl Tape for XTRM RV roof membranes # 344270341411-1, the Replacement Wiring Harness for Solera 12V and Smart Arm Power RV Awnings # LC280570, and the Wind Sensor Prep Mount for Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awnings # LC52AF.
