The N.C code on the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 means that a trailer is not connected which is usually caused by the controller not getting enough power.

This can usually be fixed by cleaning the connection, checking the ground to make sure it is connected properly, and in some cases a short in the wire which would need to get fixed.
