Question:
I have a load trail ut07 trailer that has no purple wire for reverse lights. It’s a 7 pin the middle pin which is 7 says black. How would I go about getting reverse lights to work?

Hey Aaron, for trailer wiring the colors are only a guide and not always carefully followed. In your case if the reverse light pin of your 7-way happens to have a black wire then that's perfectly fine to use for the reverse lights. So what you'd want to do is run the reverse lights from the pin of the 7-way (should be center) and you'd be fine.
