For your 56 inch Lock Side Bar Lock similar to # 3057-55 I recommend the Economy Side Door Lock - Stainless Steel # PLR3057-SS. This will allow you to customize your length using a 3/4 inch pipe which is not included.

This style of lock normally doesn't need to be within an inch, so I also have attached another style of lock that may be what you are looking for. It is the Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Kit w/ Narrow Hasp for Small Enclosed Trailers - Zinc-Plated Steel # 383200. This also requires a 3/4 inch pipe not included.
