Question:

Uhaul installed 56494 on my 2024 Mazda CX 90 PHEV. When the 4 wire is plugged into my trailer, the left turn signal causes both lights to flash. The right turn signal and brakes work correctly. when using a 7 pin adapter, either turn signal direction cause both turn signals to flash. Brake lights and running lights dont work. Any suggestions?

Since U-Haul installed the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C24ZV on your 2024 Mazda CX-90 you are probably going to want to have them check it for you.

If they are not willing to help you then you are going to want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to check both the wiring going into and out of the powered module. If the signal coming out of the module is different than the signals going into it then you know the unit is bad and you will want to contact Curt to begin the warranty process. If everything is operating normally without the trailer connected then you likely have a short on the trailer wiring.
