Bought Hopkins 56200 for 2008 Jeep Wrangler for tow vehicle. Brake lights work … 3rd brake light works when not hooked to RV. When hooked to RV … 3rd brake light not lighting up. Is there any additional harness required? Thanks! Jim Andersen

Hey Jim,
The Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200 doesn't have an extra connector to run up to the third brake light on your Jeep. You would have to splice in the Pacer 3rd Brake Light Module # PP20-702 to your # HM56200 and splice it into the wiring for the third brake light. This logic module will read the signals coming through and filter them properly for the third brake light to function while the Wrangler is being flat towed.
