Can 3,500 lb Axle Trailer Leaf Spring 25-1/4 inch get Replaced with 5k Rated Spring

Question:
I have a 3500 enclosed single axle 4” trailer. The spring leaf just broke down Can I used a 5000 lbs rate leaf spring. And the leaf spring doble eye is 25 1/4”

Hey Jaime, yes you can replace your 25-1/4 inch 3,500 lb axle leaf springs with a 5k rated axle spring like the part # e44SR. This will increase the suspension's weight capacity and might make the ride quality a little rougher but it would fit and work just fine.
