Does Master Lock Hitch Pin Lock Have Weight Capacity
Updated 03/11/2024 | Published 03/10/2024 >
Question:
Hello, I cannot find the trailer capacity rating of this hitch pin. Is it just so much higher than a 2” receiver can handle it’s not worth mentioning?

Great question Shaun, so hitch pins like the Master Lock part # 1481DAT are not weight rated because they don't ever really fully take on the weight of the trailer so it's not realistic to give a number. We've had our hitch manufacturers tell us the hitch would fail before the hitch pin would.
