Question:

I have a box that measures 150 inches flange edge to flange edge, what size do you recommend for a slide-out topper to get the most coverage for over-hang. Thanks Donald

Hi Donald,

For a 150" flange to flange measurement you'll need the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163299. This slide topper is designed to fit 146" - 151" flange to flange measurements. Going a size larger than this could potentially sit the mounting brackets out too far to be able to mount them to the wall of the slide out. This would have roughly 3" of overhang (fabric and arms) so it's important to make sure the arms won't come into contact with anything near your slide out.

To complete the installation you'll also want to pick up some butyl tape # AL28FJ to help seal up the mount brackets and prevent water from leaking into the wall. I've attached a short video below where I'll walk you through the installation process.
