What is the Capacity of the TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension for a 3" Ford Super Duty Factory Hitch?

Question:

I have a riser hitch ball that I use to connect my lifted trailer so its level with my truck. Could I add this hitch to this extension? I know it will fit, but would it change the weight ratings?

If you have the Ford 3" hitch then you can definitely add it but, yes it would change the weight capacity. The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension item # TLE1636 only has a 3,600 lbs towing capacity and a 360 lbs maximum tongue weight. If used with a weight distribution system these capacities are doubled to 7,200 lbs and 720 lbs.
