Question:

Hello, I have a small square- trailer with a 4 pin trailer wiring connector. It also has a battery that runs the fan and a few interior lights. My tow vehicle has both 7 pin and 4 pin connections 2021 RAM 1500. I want to update the connector and wiring on the trailer to charge the battery while driving. What parts do I need to purchase from eTrailer and are there any special wiring considerations for installing the new 7 pin connector on the trailer? Thank you, Dave

Since you've already got a 4 pole on your trailer, you'd just need to add a 7-way with # ETBC7 so that you can run a charge line using # 10-1-1 from the accessory circuit to your battery.

This circuit is located at the 1'oclock position on the 7-way if you were to look at it head on.
