Question:

Hi, I have an older Hollywood rack, looks like the road runner type, I was wondering if the cradle bars are able to accept the 1 1/4inch anti sway replacement cradles and the part # HRLHPTC hitch lock, thank you.

I spoke to my contact at Hollywood Racks and he said that you would need the replacement cradles for your older rack that are designed for 1 inch diameter arms. The part is # HR745AS.

The Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Lock # HRLHPTC would not work for you though since it is for threaded hitch pins and your rack doesn't have that. For something similar that would work with your rack you would want the lock # e98879 and cable lock # e98891.

This product has a locking, non-threaded hitch pin with an integrated cable lock that should work well for you.
