Question:
My brand new Furrion vision s 4.3 sharkfin will pair and work when I plug the camera into the monitor while in the cab of my truck. It also works if I connect directly to my rv batteries. meter shows 11.4 volts. I removed my rear top middle marker light and connect the camera there. All I get on my monitor us no signal no matter how many times I try to pair it. My voltage meter at my marker light wires only shows 9.82 volts. Is this why it wont connect to the monitor? What is the minimum volts the camera needs to successfully send a signal to the monitor? Thank you!

That is pretty low voltage for the Furrion Vision S camera to function so I would suspect that is the problem Kevin. It sounds like you are testing it with the vehicle not running which would make the circuit not have as high of voltage since alternator is running as well. So what I would recommend is try testing again but making sure the vehicle is running. That should get the voltage higher and allow it to work.
If that does not raise the voltage then you would need to go with a heavier gauge wire for this circuit on the trailer wiring which would reduce the voltage drop. I don't know what you have now but 12 gauge which we offer by the foot with # 12-1-1 which would take care of that.

Jameson, thanks for the reply. My tow vehicle is a 2022 GMC 2500 DENALI 2500 Duramax. I checked my voltage while my truck was running so I know that's not the problem. Since I submitted my original question I have read that a 7 pin voltage adapter is necessary on the newer GMC and Chevy trucks. I ordered the one from trailer. Hopefully this will fix the problem. Thank you.
