Can The Trimark Baggage Door Lock 12054-37 Have The Lock Cylinder Replaced?

Question:
Can you replace just the cylinder on a trimark 12054-37 lock, and if so do you sell them?

Expert Reply:
I do see your Trimark 12054-37 came keyed alike so every one of this model was keyed alike from the factory. These types of locks are typically not able to have the cylinder replaced as they made other models like the 16801-01 which used their KeyOne system and allow for cylinder exchanges. Trimark will tell you to just replace the entire latch assembly since they are all keyed alike. If you prefer to switch to a lock where they will be keyed differently than every other Trimark baggage door lock we do have the Global Link # 295-000015 which you can order a specific amount keyed alike to a single key.
