Question:

You responded to my question about the D MCO EZ-Latch, assuming a 3” wide tongue. The tongue is 2” wide, with holes on the side of the tongue that are 3” apart. Do you have an EZ-Latch that will fit? I will be happy to text or email the photos. Thanks. Ed

Demco unfortunately doesn't have an EZ-latch coupler for a 2" wide channel so you're left with three options:

etrailer # CT-3001-Z (3-1/16 bolt hole spacing)

Curt # C82CR (3" bolt hole spacing)

Dutton-Lainson # DL13835 (3" hole spacing)

Of the three options the Curt # C82CR is going to be the easiest to use since it just has a 1/2" diameter hitch pin to slip through the coupler and lock the ball in place. The only other option would be to have some 1/2" steel plates added to the tongue to thicken it up enough for a coupler like the Demco # DM15000-52 to fit.
