Question:
Looking for a weight distribution hitch with sway control for my 2019 Nissan Frontier. I am pulling a 2023 Coleman Lantern 17b. Dry Weight 3,078 lbs. Payload Capacity 772 lbs. Hitch Weight 397 lbs. All dry weight of course. I am also looking for a cheaper spare tire and rim. Looking to keep everything budget friendly. Thanks

While there are more budget friendly weight distribution hitches out there like the Reese # RE94FR you found, I highly recommend getting one with more quality like the Fastway e2 # FA92-00-0800. While both these have the same weight capacities of 400-800lbs of tongue weight and total trailer weight up to 8,000lbs the big difference is in the spring bars themselves. The Reese uses round bars which by bending the bars creates a weak point. And I cannot begin to tell you how many times I've had someone come looking for a replacement bar because the spring clip which holds it in place fell out and the bar was lost somewhere on the road.
With the Fastway e2 # FA92-00-0800 it uses a straight trunnion bar so there are no weak points and it will also improve ground clearance for speed bumps and curbs you may drive over. Also the bar is held in place with a pin and clip so it is not going to fall out while you are driving down the road.
For a spare the Loadstar ST215/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel # AM3S550 is going to be our best budget option. You can carry this on your rear bumper with the Carrier # TR-1 to save on your storage area space. But be sure to use a Cover # 290-1736 over the tire to protect it from damaging UV rays which will dry out and cause the tire to rot.
