How To Confirm Wheel Bolt Pattern for 215/75-14 Tire and Wheel
Updated 04/23/2020 | Published 04/22/2020 >
Question:
I am trying to buy a wheel and tire for a trailer. Im puzzled about the bolt pattern measurement. I currently have a Load Star ST215/75D14 tire on the trailer. The wheel is a 5 bolt. I think it is a 4.5 but am not sure. How would you recommend measuring? Problem: the axle extends beyond the lug bolts so I cant measure directly across. I dont want to order the wrong wheel.

The Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel part # AM32181 is a great option and what I recommend for replacement. In order to confirm this is correct you'll need to verify the bolt pattern by measuring the lug studs. The lugs studs will need to be measured from the center of any stud to the point halfway between the studs directly across from the first or you can measure the two studs next to each other. If the two studs next to each other measure 2-5/8" then it's a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
