How can I clean oxidation off the slide rails of my BandW Patriot 18K slider hitch

To clean oxidation off of the sliding rails on your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 you'll want to spray on some white lithium grease, like part # RM-747, and then work the hitch back and forth. You can then wipe off the excess grease and reapply as needed. Depending on the severity you may also need to reach out to B&W to look into replacement options.

If you end up having rust issues on a painted surface you can first clean it with steel wool to remove the rust and can then get then repaint it. If you give B&W a call they can give you the specific paint code for their signature gray color and you can pick up some from your local paint/hardware store.
