How to Measure for Replacement Awning Fabric

Updated 05/06/2024 | Published 01/09/2024

Question:

If I am replacing my fabric on my awning, do I purchase the size of my actual awning, or go a foot smaller?

Choosing the correct replacement awning fabric requires measuring from the center of the left arm to the center of the right arm on your current awning. This will of course be wider than the actual awning fabric. The # LCV000334389 you looked at is for a 15' awning which is the center arm to center arm measurement. The actual awning fabric is 14'1" wide. It is compatible with Solera, Dometic A&E, and Carefree of Colorado awnings.
