Replacement Actuator Recommendation for Discontinued Atwood 85738

im looking for a replacement actuator. the actuator number im trying to replace is an atwood 85738 rated for 5,000 lbs. would you guys have anything to replace that because they no longer make them. thanks in advancde

To replace your Atwood 85738 actuator I recommend checking out the Demco 7K actuator which comes configured for Drum Brakes # DM72VR as well as Disc Brakes # DM62VR and a 2" hitch ball.

This system is a bolt on installation but an experienced welder would be able to cut off your current actuator and weld either one of these on in it's place.

We no longer carry the Atwood master cylinder you are looking for so your best option would be to replace the coupler. The coupler you have is the most problematic one we see by far so going to a better design will be your best long term solution. To…
