Hello I have a 2024 Chevy 2500 6.5" bed with the factory pucks. Do you recommend a sliding fifth wheel hitch? if so Which one is the best? Will be towing basically full time. camper is like 18K loaded. thank you for your help

We do recommend using a sliding fifth wheel hitch for your 2024 Chevy 2500 with the 6.5' bed. The best hitch available for that application is going to be the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM29GV, which is made to go directly into the Chevy OEM puck system. The big advantage of this hitch is the auto slide feature. This means no more getting in and out of the truck to operate a manual slider. This will be a major convenience and time saver if you will be towing full time. The hitch itself is rated for 21,000 lbs, so more than enough for your 18K camper.
