I have a lippert 1621 pin box. Will this work in replace of it to hook my fifth wheel to a gooseneck?

No, it will not but I have one that does. It is the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter item # RP85FR. This one does fit the 1621 pin box. I have linked an installation video below to show you how to get it set up.
You will also need the Reese Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # RP49151. You have to use safety chains with a gooseneck connection and they are not included with the goose box.
