Question:

Hey I’m looking into getting the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms RM-523195-5 for a 2020 premier suburban. It doesn’t have the tow hock cut outs in the bumper but it does have plastic plates over where they would come out. Will this plate kit work for this vehicle?

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-523195-5 you referenced only fits the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban's with the Z71 package. Since yours is the Premier model you'll want the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-523179-5 instead. You'll have to cut some holes in the fascia to get the mounting point for the arms to stick through. I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see this step along with an installation video.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
