CAN THIS BALL SYSTEM WORK ON A REESE GOOSENECK I HAVE A SHORT BED DODGE RAM WANTING TO GET MORE EXTENSION AWAY FROM THE CAB WITH MY FIFTH WHEEL GRAND DESIGN RV . GEN Y HITCH GH21004

Yes, it will. The Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # GY83XR is designed specifically to fit in the Ram factory puck system. It will push the connection point for the gooseball and your trailer back 5" towards your tailgate. This adapter has a 25,000 lbs capacity and is compatible with Reese gooseboxes.
