Troubleshooting A Furrion RV Convection Oven That Isn't Building And Maintaining Temperature
Updated 11/13/2023 | Published 11/11/2023 >
Question:
My FMCM15-BL convection oven doesnt function on higher temperatures than 375F. If programmed to 400 or 425 it heats up to 375 and than starts to work down to the lowest setting. This also randomly happens for any other setting, it heats up until almost there and than goes down again. Not always but enough to be a huge pain in the butt! Whats with that?

it sounds to me like your Furrion convection oven either has a bad heating element or temperature sensor. You can have a qualified technician check both as well as the gas pressure to ensure that you're getting 11" WC so that the oven can properly operate. This unfortunately seems to be a very common issue and most people that have it have stated that using a cordierite tray (pizza stone) has helped with building and maintaining even heat in the oven.
