Good afternoon, I have a 2022 Ford Maverick the 2.5L Hybrid. Should the power wire for this wiring kit be run to the battery under the hood or the battery under the back passenger seat?

You need to route the 12V power wire from the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with # C59DR up to the battery under the hood of your 2022 Ford Maverick, which we demonstrate how to do in the linked installation video.
I also recommend picking up the Wire Loom # 39035 and Mounting Bracket # 18144 to complete the installation.
