Recommended Brake Controller for a 2023 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss

I have a 2023 Colorado trail boss and was wondering if there are any trailer brake controllers that would work with my truck. Thank you for the help.

We have quite a few brake controllers that will work with your 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss. The best brake controller for a 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss is the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite item # RED44FR. This is a proportional brake controller that automatically adjusts your trailer's braking based on the deceleration of your Colorado. The Tow-Pro Elite has a unique installation method where the main unit is concealed behind your dash and the only part visible is the control knob.

There are no options to plug in a brake controller because Chevy did not include a brake controller adapter in the Colorado's. They ran the wires and tapped them off. There will be 4 blunt cut wires behind the plastic kick panel on the driver side of the vehicle that you can easily access.
