What Harness is Needed to Install a Trailer Brake Controller on a 2022 GMC Canyon

Question:
Curt 51170 install on 2022 GMC Canyon? Canyon has towing option and trailering option, But NO brake controller. What extra harness do I need? Any instructions of 51170 being installed on Canyon?

I do have an option for you but hardwired trailer brake controllers aren't ideal for a 2022 GMC Canyon as they will require you to splice into the vehicle and run wires throughout. I highly recommend going with the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 instead since it just plugs into the trailer connector and you're done.
