Given the info you provided, you are most likely dealing with a 3,500 lb axle. The 3" x 2" tube, the 5 lug hub, and the 14" tire would generally point to a 3.5K axle. Although without the axle tag it is impossible to say with certainty. The rectangle tube torsion axles are not always made to standard the way that round tube axles are, and depending on the age of the trailer, you may be dealing with a slightly different capacity, no higher than 5,200 lbs.
The best way to confirm this would be to pull one of the hubs and confirm the bearing sizes. The 3.5K axles will generally use a # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and a # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing. On a 5.2K axle we typically see bearings more like 1.75" ID and 1.25" ID. Confirming this would give you the best idea of the exact capacity.
