Question:

Folowing your comment on 13382 hitch for crosstrek 2024 WILDERNESS, would you have a picture of your previous installation because dealer telling me its gonna hang much lower from bumper since wilderness have way higher bumper than other model of crosstrek 2024? I got my 13382 received already but would like picture before installation or return of it. Thanks

We do have a few pictures that you should find helpful. We also have a video showing installation of the Curt # C13382 on a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek (non wilderness). We have not gotten our hands on the Wilderness edition here at our shop quite yet. I have included a few pictures, as well as a link to our install video below. The first minute or so of the video will show you the completed installation.

Once we installed this hitch on the 2024 Crosstrek, the receiver sat about 14" from the ground. While your dealer may not be wrong in that there may be more space between the hitch and the bumper, ground clearance will not be an issue. With the Wilderness edition having upgraded suspension and all terrain tires you will have taller ground clearance than the base model.
