I recommend installing our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR on your 2024 Kia Sportage. This receiver has the more popular 2" opening allowing for a larger selection of ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories. It has a matte black finish which I find provides for a cleaner more factory appearance.
You will want to install a 4-Way # C99DR when you install the receiver. This will allow you to connect to the lights on most small trailers. It will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 should any hitch mounted accessory you use impair the view of your tail lights.
