What is the ground clearance of the eco vs the curt hitch when the when the down tube extension is in place on the eco

Hello Ken,

It looks like the measurement for the Curt and the Eco are going to be the same. We have not been able to do the install on the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH82KR but after reviewing the instructions the receiver is going to sit at just about the same spot. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C94WR is 11 1/2" from the ground to the bottom of the receiver. The # EH82KR might be a smidge higher than that.

What are you looking to use the hitch for?

2025 kia sportage hybrid ( not plug in) Ground clearance to the lowest portion of the extension piece that slides vertically into the receiver .of the eco hitch

@Ken We have not been able to install the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH82KR, but when I compare it to the other hitches that we have for the 2025 Kia Sportage the receiver is going to install in the same place as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C94WR, and to the bottom of the receiver from the ground for the # C94WR is 11 1/2". You may have a smidge more clearance, but nothing less. If you are near the Wentzville, MO we would love to do the install for you for the video footage =) What are you you looking to use the hitch for?

@KateF It will be used to hold a 2 bike carrier that I purchased from etrailer about 7 years ago. It will need to accommodate. 2 ebikes in the future on a new carrier.
