Will the Swagman Quad 2+2 Bike Rack Fit a 2003 Toyota 4Runner and Can the Hooks Be Locked

I have a 2003 Toyota 4 Runner and I would like to insure the 2+2 hitch will work without issues. I would also like to know if there is a preferred method to lock or secure the upright ratchet hooks , against possible theft.

Provided your 2003 Toyota 4Runner has a 2 inch trailer hitch the Swagman Quad bike rack # S64FR will fit just fine. You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the rear of the vehicle. If this measurement is less than 9 inches then the rack will clear the rear of the vehicle when folded up or down.
The hooks themselves do not lock. To lock the bikes and rack to the vehicle you would need to use a cable lock, # e98891. Run it through the bikes/rack and to the trailer hitch safety chain loops.
