Will Trailer Tire Size ST225/75R15 Fit Same Wheel as 7.00-15LT

Question:
I have an old camper with 7.00 x 15” tires. I tried to put 225/75r15 trailer tire on the rim and it seams to be to loose around the bead area to hold air. Do I need a special tire for these rims?

The two tire sizes you mentioned fit the same diameter and width trailer wheel so unless something really unusual is going on with your wheels the new tires should fit. Is it just that the bead of the new tire is not seated on the wheel yet?
