Question:
Please ignore my my other post. I am wanting to go to a 10 ply E tire on my fifth wheel. The gvw is 9900 lbs. Inside the wheel it says Max load 2600 lbs. Axles are rated at 4500lbs The tires are ST225 75R15 8 ply D. Can I go with a 10 ply E . Thanks The tires were made in 2012 and are original.

Yes you can go with a 10 Ply Load Range E tire for your trailer in the size of 225/75-15. For that we have the part # TR225LRE which has a weight capacity of 2,830-lb max load at 80 psi.
What I also really like about this tire is that it has a higher than normal speed rating at 81 mph as opposed to most trailer tires that are only rated to 65 mph.

I have a 2022 Grand Design 33’ fifth wheel running Goodyear Endeavor ST225/75R15 10 ply tires (original factory tires) In the last six weeks have had one separate and go flat just as I stopped and two that blew out. All tires started out with 75 psi and had less than 10,000 original miles. I am considering going to Hercules H901 12 ply tires. Is this a good fit for my trailer? Trailer GVWR 10,999 lbs. Thanks for any input provided.
