Question:
Good morning, I have a small utility trailer with a 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern on 10 brake drums. Id like to change the bolt pattern to a 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern to match my Toyota Tacoma. This is a kit built trailer and I do not know the axle specifics. Can you recommend a product?

To swap out your hub/drum assemblies to a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern you'll need to measure the axle spindle at points B, C, and D with a set of calipers # PTW80157 so that we can see which assembly has a matching bearing and grease seal. If your axle has no capacity listed on it then you'll also want to measure the diameter of the axle tube so we can try to determine the capacity using the spindle measurements as well.
For example, if point C measured 1.378", point D measured 1.063", point B measured 1.719", and the axle tube measured 2-3/8" in diameter then you could replace your hub/drum assemblies with part # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K.
