Replacement Bearings, Races, Grease Seals & Brakes For Lippert 4,400LB Axle On Jayco Travel Trailer

Updated 04/08/2026 | Published 04/06/2024

Question:

I am having trouble determining which part numbers I need for my Lippert axle on my Jayco travel trailer. The tag on the axle shows item V000314462 and a Cust Part 0247644. Right now I am looking for bearings and grease seals. When I disassemble the wheel housing, I may need brakes too. Can you help with determining the correct part numbers?

You are going to need the Bearing Kit # BK2-100 for each hub on your Lippert Axle. This kit contains the bearings, races and grease seal for each hub. If you end up needing brakes we have the Left # LC96WD and Right # LC46WD brake assemblies.

Have the same data plate as in this question. My question for y’all is this the right part # for the bearing kit? It’s for a 3500 lbs axle. Not 4400.? Also what drum would you recommend? Thanks.

@ChrisS do you have the serial number? That would be the best way to verify with Lippert. Sometimes they use the standard 3,500 lb spindle and sometimes it is something else.

@RobinH Good morning, Serial # is S000718341for the axels. Or item # v000314462. Thanks for your help!

@ChrisS thanks! That is the same as above, you have a #84 spindle so # BK2-100 is the right bearing kit. You can use # AKHD-545-35-K for a hub and drum assembly.
